
Brush painting master Zhu Ming Kun 朱明崑 (pictured above) is a contemporary painter who was born in Nanjing. Fond of painting from his early childhood, he first became a student of Master Hu Guo Ren, one of Nanjing's most notable painters. He then studied with the China Arts Association in the "First Senior Graduate Student Landscape class". He has studied under the following renown masters; Zhang Ping, Long Rui, Bai Gen Yan and Lu Yun.
Through a long process of study and thinking about conventional techniques, Zhu Ming Kun has now developed his own unique style. "Bold and meaningful, filled with majestic atmosphere", his style is well suited to the large landscapes that he paints. He is now:
